Senior Computer Technician

We are looking for personable and highly competent computer technicians who can work onsite at a customer location during normal business hours. We need workers who are well dressed and exude a professional manner. You may need your own transportation to get to an assignment, but several of our clients are in proximity to downtown business clusters and mass transit.

The qualifications we need in a Senior Computer Technician are:

• Training certification (A-Plus or MSCE) or a 4 year technical degree
• Three or more years with Windows system administration including Windows Server and Active Directory administration
• Three or more years experience in IP network administration including support of T1 lines, Cisco routers and VPNs
• Support use of business email on smartphones (Android, iPhone, Blackberry)
• Experience in hardware repair including hard drive replacement, power supply replacement, disk imaging, and printer maintenance
• Experience with Macintosh and Linux systems
• Experience in training and assisting end-users with productivity applications such as Microsoft Office
• Experience with cloud-based services such as Google Apps or Salesforce.com

Database Programmer

We need a database programmer for an Automobile Dealer Management System (DMS). This person will work with Dealer managers to update and create new custom reports from the DMS. The DMS vendor is uses SQL Server and Crystal Reports for the database and reporting system. All new and modified reports are documented in our internal intranet based on Mediawiki.

A desk and computer will be provided to work onsite. Work may be performed remotely via a connection to the Dealer network using a VPN.

Qualifications:

• 4 yr college degree, engineering preferred
• Independent contractor status
• 3 yrs SQL/RDBMS (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
• 3 yrs Web Database Programming (LAMP, ASP, Visual Basic, etc.)
• Experience with working with complex database schemas
• Ability to work directly with clients to specify reporting requirements and to refine intermediate results
